Baburam Bhattarai withdraws his candidacy

. Patron of the Progressive Democratic Party, Dr. Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has withdrawn his candidacy for the House of Representatives from Gorkha-2.

Dr. Bhattarai had filed his candidacy from the constituency for the election scheduled for March 4. Earlier, he had announced that he would not run for the election, but the party announced it at the last moment.

Bhattarai reconsidered his decision and withdrew his candidacy after candidates of other parties urged him to withdraw his candidacy in the constituency.TAG_OPEN_p_2
