Writ petition filed against Resham Chaudhary’s candidacy rejected by Judge Dhakal

. The writ petition filed against the candidacy of patron of Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal, Resham Lal Chaudhary, is to be heard. A single bench of Justice Bal Krishna Dhakal has fixed the writ petition filed by Chaudhary.

Chaudhary has moved the Supreme Court (SC) after the Election Commission (EC) rejected his candidacy for the House of Representatives election from Kailali constituency-1.TAG_OPEN_p_3 The Election Commission had rejected Chaudhary’s candidacy on Thursday.

The Supreme Court is likely to decide whether Chaudhary’s candidacy will be valid or not in connection with the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 4.TAG_OPEN_p_2
