Kathmandu. The printing of ballot papers under the proportional representation (PR) system for the upcoming elections scheduled for March 4 has already been completed while the printing of ballot papers under the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system has begun. According to Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari, a total of 2,08,54,800 ballot papers have been printed under the proportional representation category.
The printing of 203,23,000 first-past-the-post ballot papers began on Sunday and is expected to be completed in about 15 days. According to Bhandari, the Election Commission is preparing to distribute the ballot papers at the respective places before February 18.
