Kathmandu. The global shortage of petroleum products and gas has been seen due to the recent development in the West Asia region. Neighboring countries like India, Bangladesh and Pakistan have already seen a shortage of petroleum products and gas, while its impact is also seen in Nepal.
Although the Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has been saying that there is no shortage of petrol and gas, hundreds of queues have been seen at the distribution room of Nepal Gas Industry inside Balaju Industrial Area.
According to the public, there is a shortage of gas in the gas depots outside, due to which they have to come to Balaju with cylinders.
