NCP Chair Oli to address NCP founding day programme today

Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the party establishment day programme today.

According to party central office secretary Dr Bhishma Adhikari, Oli will address the 77th anniversary programme to be held at Chyasal at 2:00 pm.

According to a leader, Oli’s address will cover contemporary politics and UML’s future course of action.

Oli was arrested by the police on March 26 and released on April 9. Chairman Oli returned home on April 5 after undergoing surgery for gall bladder stones. Oli, who is currently recuperating, is scheduled to address party leaders and cadres on the occasion of the establishment day of the party.

The party has urged the office-bearers of the party’s center, people’s organizations, central members and well-wishers in the Kathmandu Valley to participate in the programme. Nepal Communist Party was established on April 23, 2006 under the leadership of Pushpa Lal Shrestha.
