Kathmandu. Various student groups have protested against the government’s decision to dissolve the student union. They expressed their dissatisfaction with the government’s decision by releasing black balloons. Students who participated in the demonstration alleged that the decision interfered with democratic rights. “Student unions are our voice, and to dismiss it is an attack on freedom of expression,” one participant said.

The demonstrators waved black balloons into the sky in a symbolic protest. They urged the government to reconsider the decision and protect the rights of the students.
