FNCCI’s 60th General Assembly concludes

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The 60th annual general meeting of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has been concluded. The AGM was attended by industrialists and businessmen, representatives of private sector and representatives of the stakeholders from across the country.

The meeting dwelt on contemporary economic situation of the country, improvement in investment environment, role of private sector and challenges and opportunities for industrial development. The meeting also stressed on policy reforms, creation of business-friendly environment and collaboration with the government for economic revival.

On the occasion, FNCCI office-bearers put forth their views on the strategy needed to further strengthen the private sector, increase production, employment generation and export promotion. Reviewing its 60-year journey, the FNCCI has pledged to make the leadership role of the private sector more effective in the days ahead.
