Kathmandu.  Locals of Tilganga area have been agitated after the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) removed the settlements in the area. Locals have strongly objected to the PADT’s forcible eviction of their houses in violation of past agreements and conditions.

The displaced locals staged a peaceful sit-in outside the main gate of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) office (Gaushala) in order to strongly protest against the move and to pile pressure on the government to fulfill their demands.
