Kathmandu. Entrepreneurs have drawn the attention of the government after toxic sludge was found in the Extreme Energy Drink kept at their shop at Putalibazaar in Syangja. Krishna Aryal, a businessman who runs Aryal Eatery in Putalibazaar Municipality, has drawn the government’s attention after he noticed that the drink called ‘Extreme Energy Drink’ was found to contain disgusting substance.

Entrepreneur Aryal, however, said that the company should clarify on this issue. The businessman poured the drink in the bowl after the customers who came to him for excessive drink complained about the taste and thickness. The businessman said that when he poured the drink in the bowl, he saw the disgusting mud.

Company officials say that at first glance, the mud that looks like a dead creature could be in the event of a drink being spoiled or expired. However, company officials said that they do not know where the contaminated drinks have reached the country.

The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control, the government body, has been testing the quality of various food items. But the fact that Extreme has not yet been tested on the basis of reach and power leaves room for doubt about the extent of the company’s misconduct.
