Rastriya Swatantra Party believes in method, no matter what supporters do, it doesn’t mean exemption: Rabi Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has said that the development of the party’s leadership should start from the grassroots.

During his visit to the constituency, he said the responsibility could come at any time.

He stressed on the need to prepare manpower that can lead from ward, municipality, district to province and center. He said that leadership development and responsibility sharing practice is necessary from the grassroots level to strengthen the party structure.

He clarified that no one has the right to commit wrongdoing just because he is a party voter or a member.

He said, “It does not mean that whatever the party’s supporters do. Just because the party runs according to the rule does not mean that its leaders and supporters are not exempt from doing anything. We believe in the law. We are working so that all the institutions and state agencies can follow the law and put it into practice more.” ’

He said that he has not been able to come to his constituency for a long time as he has a big responsibility.

He added, “I am not far from your contact. There are different responsibilities, such a big party, such a big party, all these MPs, all these and such a big structure of the party has to be run. Recently, we held the first historic general convention in Chitwan from here. We have to build the party. Somewhere, the party will have to coordinate with the government as much as possible. ’

He said that it is the important responsibility of the party president to build the overall structure of the party and coordinate with various sectors. He stressed on the need to activate the party’s institutional structure to advance the work of local development. He said that the situation of the citizens looking for MPs on every issue should end.

Urging the party cadres to identify and develop potential leadership at the local level, he said that the leadership capable of handling responsibilities at ward, municipality, district, province and central level should be prepared from now on.
