24 incidents of natural disasters in the country, highest number of fires reported

. Kathmandu : In the last 24 hours, 26 more incidents have been reported in the country. Most of these incidents are related to fire.

According to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority (NDRRMA), the incidents of fire have increased during the winter season due to carelessness.TAG_OPEN_p_7 In the last 24 hours, 16 fires have been reported across the country. It has been reported that the fire broke out in the stubble well, the fire spread due to the storm and carelessness while heating the fire.

The disaster caused a loss of around Rs 25.30 lakh and injured seven people.TAG_OPEN_p_6 Two incidents of fire have been reported in Morang and one each in Sunsari, Bhojpur, Saptari, Siraha, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara, Ramechhap, Makwanpur, Kathmandu, Palpa, Pyuthan and Kailali.

Meanwhile, normal life has been affected in Baglung, Rukum East, Humla, Bajhang and Baitadi due to snowfall.TAG_OPEN_p_5 Similarly, incidents of animal attacks have also been reported in Saptari, Kapilvastu and Doti.
