5 parties make common commitment to make Dhading election peaceful

Kathmandu. Five major political parties in Dhading district have expressed common commitment to make the House of Representatives election scheduled for March 4 in a peaceful, dignified and fair manner.

The district leaders and candidates of Nepali Congress, CPN (UML), CPN (UML), Rastriya Swatantra Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party agreed to cooperate for peace, social harmony, fair voting, mutual respect and compliance of the code of conduct during the elections.

The joint commitment letter states that all political parties would work together for the overall welfare of the district even after the election, make the election campaign peaceful and economical, resolve disputes through dialogue and follow the directives of the Election Commission.

District chairpersons of all the political parties and candidates of both the constituencies had signed in the meeting.
