Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The air quality in the Kathmandu Valley has improved. Kathmandu, which has been ranked first in the World Air Quality Index recently, has improved its air quality.

Pollution in the air in the valley has increased due to lack of rainfall for a long time and no wind blowing. The air quality in Kathmandu Valley has improved due to rain and gusty winds on Sunday. According to the Air Quality Index (AQI) today, Kathmandu Valley is in the 39th position.

An AQI between 0 and 50 is considered ‘good’, while an AQI between 51 and 100 is considered ‘cautionary’. Similarly, 101 to 150 are considered ‘unhealthy’.
