Kathmandu. The Election Commission (EC) has provided certificates to the lawmakers elected under the proportional representation category.
Chief Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari handed over the certificates to the lawmakers under the proportional representation (PR) category amidst a special function at the EC on Thursday.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has elected 57 lawmakers under the proportional representation (PR) category. Similarly, 20 were from the Nepali Congress, 16 from the CPN-UML, nine from the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), four each from the Labour and Culture Party and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).
The Election Commission (EC) is to submit its report to President Ram Chandra Poudel today.
The EC is preparing to submit a comprehensive report along with election results to the President after issuing certificates to the lawmakers elected under the proportional representation category.
