. KATHMANDU — The ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has started a review after it lost more than 7 lakh votes in the House of Representatives elections. KATHMANDU — Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has warned of action if the party members voted for other parties in the elections. He said action would be initiated after receiving concrete reports from all the constituencies and preparations were underway to hold the general convention in June for party restructuring.

Prachanda said that although the organization is strong, it is lagging behind in ideology, politics and struggle.TAG_OPEN_p_1 He also urged the party leadership and cadres not to be disappointed, saying they should focus on making the party ideology and politics and organization efficient. Spokesperson of the party, Agni Prasad Sapkota, said that the secretariat meeting would seriously review and preparations for the general convention would be made in June for the party transformation and restructuring.
