Government offices and educational institutions to remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays

Kathmandu. The government has decided to give a public holiday on Saturday and Sunday with effect from tomorrow.

Government spokesperson Sasmit Pokharel shared that the government offices and educational institutions have decided to give a public holiday on Saturday and Sunday.

He said that this decision was taken due to the difficulty in the supply of petroleum.

A meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday took this decision. According to Pokharel, this deadline will come into effect from tomorrow (April 23).
