Kathmandu. National Assembly member of the Nepali Congress, Kamala Panta, has expressed her dissatisfaction over the government’s working style.

Addressing the 21st session of the National Assembly (NA) here today, she accused the incumbent government of being influenced by autocratic, autocratic and anti-poor mentality.

Stating that the people had high expectations from the first budget session that kicked off after the local elections on March 4, she said the people have expressed their aspiration for political stability and rapid economic development.

He, however, said that the government’s initial activities, priorities and presentation style had created disappointment against the people’s expectation.

“We have entered the first budget session after the March 21 election. At present, we are surrounded by innumerable aspirations of the people. The people have clearly expressed their desire for political stability and rapid economic development through their votes.

Looking at the activities and working style of the government in the initial days, it is sad to say that it has been seen as arbitrary, autocratic, intolerable and anti-poor in terms of the prioritization and presentation of works and the style of governance mentality. ’

Panta blamed that although a new government was formed through the election of the House of Representatives, the same parliament was the first target of the government. She claimed that the parliament meeting was adjourned without any reason and that the ordinance was being used excessively to undermine the law-making prerogatives of the parliament.

“The election was for the House of Representatives. A new government was formed by exercising its constitutional authority of the House of Representatives.

But unfortunately, it was the government that was the first attack on Parliament. The meeting of the parliament was adjourned without any reason or basis. The ordinance was promulgated with the intention of weakening the prerogative of the parliament to make laws and laws. The government’s ritualistic behavior has also been evident in the completion of the budget statement. ’

She said that the government’s ritualistic behavior has been seen even in the works related to the budget and questioned the democratic process.
