Earthquake disrupts life in Venezuela’s Caracas

Kathmandu. Caracas, Venezuela, has been hit by a powerful earthquake. Footage released by Chinese media CCTV showed debris in various parts of the city and crowds of people on the streets.

Footage showed residents gathered in the streets near a sign that read “Plaza Venezuela”. There are also scenes of people rushing to safer places after the earthquake.

Roads are littered with boulders and debris, while in some places walls have collapsed and a large amount of rubbish and debris has accumulated. Initial reports showed that life in Caracas and other affected areas was paralyzed after the quake. CCTV
