Nepal Idol Junior to air from first week of April

Kathmandu. The first international franchise reality show, Nepal Idol, is all set to air the first season of Nepal Idol Junior. Currently, digital audition is being conducted for Nepal Idol Junior. The talent selected through digital audition will participate in the judges’ round through the mega audition.

In a press conference held on Sunday, the organizers informed that all the preparations for the event have been completed. Nepal Idol has established itself as an important platform to highlight the emerging and hidden talents of Nepali music industry. The organizers have said that the aim is to give continuity to this successful journey and make Nepal Idol Junior special and impactful.

Sugam Pokharel, Suwani Moktan and Asmita Adhikari will be on the jury for this season. Dr. Sharisha Shrestha and singer Mahesh Kafle will be the presenters of the program. Similarly, Min Gurung has been appointed as the talent head and music director of Nepal Idol. Ellen Shrestha is the director of Nepal Idol Junior.

Nepal Idol started its journey in 2017. The winners so far are Buddha Lama, Ravi Oad, Sajja Chaulagain, Bhupendra Thapa Magar, Karan Pariyar and Ganga Sonam. This program has been playing an important role in bringing Nepali music lovers together and introducing new talents at the national and international level.

Nepal Idol Junior has Khalti as the voting partner. The show will be broadcast on AP One television. With some modifications and novelties as per the times, we are going to present the first season of Idol Junior, which is expected to have a deeper impact among the Nepali audience. According to the organizers, Nepal Idol Junior will be aired on AP One Television from the first week of April.
