Kathmandu. The stock market rose 48.71 points on Thursday. The market, which had increased by 45.12 points the previous day, has increased to 2,851 points today. The transaction amount has also increased slightly. The transaction was worth Rs 9.91 billion today from Rs 8.31 billion in the previous day.
While the price of 251 companies increased, 16 declined, while one remained stable. The indices of all the groups have increased. Other groups rose the most at 3.43 percent. Himalayan Reinsurance and Nepal Reinsurance Ltd, two of the biggest companies in the group, were among the major companies in the group. Today, the price of Himalayan Rico has increased by 7.53 percent and that of Nepal Reinsurance has increased by 5.33 percent.
Shares such as banking sector saw a dip of 1.24 per cent, development bank 0.78 per cent, finance 1.47, hotel and tourism 2.39 per cent, hydropower 2.70 per cent, investment 1.00 per cent, life insurance 0.99 per cent, production and processing 2.58 per cent, microfinance 1.20 per cent and non-life insurance 1.00 per cent.
The value of eight companies has increased by 10 percent. Reliance Spinning Mills, Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta, Bhujung Hydropower, Ridgeline Energy, Solu Hydropower, Hotel Forest Inn, Super Khudi Hydropower and Suryakund Hydropower are among the companies that have surged 10 percent. Similarly, the price of Himstar Energy increased by 9.64 percent.
The price of Shweta Ganga Hydropower Ltd fell the most by 2.55 percent. The most traded companies today are National Hydropower, Reedy Power, Himalayan Reinsurance, NRN Infrastructure and SY Panels.
