Kathmandu. Police have arrested two persons with undisclosed cash.

A 59-year-old man from Prakasam, Andhra Pradesh, India, was arrested on Saturday afternoon with Rs 7.95 lakh from the domestic terminal of Gautam Buddha International Airport.

A police team deputed from the Airport Security Office arrested him after he was on his way to Kathmandu on a Buddha Air flight.

Police have arrested 36-year-old Mingmar Tshering Gurung of Vriddim Rural Municipality-3 with Rs 1,952,100 from Dhunche Bazaar of Gosainkunda Rural Municipality-6 on Saturday evening.

A police team deputed from Temporary Police Post Dhunche found him travelling in a Sumo (Na 1 Ja 4807) en route to Kathmandu from Syafrubesi and arrested him with the cash.

Police said further investigation is underway in this connection.
