Kathmandu. The first general convention of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is taking place at the Hest House ground in Bharatpur, Chitwan.
Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, CPN-UML leader Pradeep Gyawali and Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader Barsha Man Pun have already reached the party office.
The RSP had also invited leaders of other political parties to extend its best wishes.
Rastriya Janata Party (RSP) General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal, Spokesperson Manish Jha and other leaders were present at the venue. Prime Minister Balen Shah, party president Rabi Lamichhane and other office-bearers have not yet attended the general convention.
The program was scheduled to be inaugurated at 1:00 pm but it has not started yet.
