Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) general convention to begin at 2:00 pm

Kathmandu. The closed session of the first national general convention of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSVP) will begin at 2:00 pm today.

The closed session of the first national general convention underway in Bharatpur of Chitwan will begin at 2:00 pm on Tuesday.

The registration of delegates has already started at 10 am. Party President Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to formally inaugurate the closed session at 2:00 pm after lunch time at 11:45 am.

Immediately after the commencement of the closed session, the schedule has been made public in such a way that the reports of various bodies will be discussed. Ramakanta Rimal will present the report of the Discipline Commission from 2:10 pm to 2:30 pm and then treasurer Lima Adhikari will present the party’s financial report.

Joint General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya is scheduled to present the statute amendment proposal endorsed by the central committee from 3:45 pm to 4:45 pm today.

Similarly, Vice-President Dr Swarnim Wagle will present the foreword from 4:45 pm to 5:15 pm and President Rabi Lamichhane will present the political report. The report will be discussed and presented till 6:35 pm.
