PM’s response is needed from parliament, not from Chitwan: MP Rai

Kathmandu. Labour Sanskrit Party lawmaker Aren Rai has expressed his displeasure over the reply made by Prime Minister Balendra Shah Balen from Chitwan.

Speaking at the meeting of the House of Representatives on Sunday, he said that the reply of the Prime Minister was returned from Chitwan and the answer should be given from the House itself.

He said, “I am not protesting for the sake of opposition in the House. We have been demanding for a long time that the anti-national statement made by the Prime Minister be removed from the record. It has not been heard yet. Was the Prime Minister’s statement in the interest of the nation? If it is in the interest of the nation, I demand that it should not be removed from the record,” he said. We don’t want his answer from Chitwan, we are seeking an answer from this House. ’
