We have weakness in not being able to find Madan Bhandari’s killer: Jhalanath Khanal

Kathmandu. Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) leader Jhalanath Khanal has claimed that the murders of Madan Bhandari and Jibraj Ashrit were conspiratorial.

Addressing a program organized to mark the 75th birth anniversary of people’s leader Madan Bhandari here today, he said that the murder was done in a mysterious, cowardly and conspiratorial manner.

“There is a weakness within us that we are not able to find out who committed the murder,” he said. But the kind of assassination plot that was hatched against him is a blatant conspiracy by reactionaries at home and abroad to weaken the communist movement in Nepal. This conspiracy is not only against him, it is continuing on the entire communist movement. ’

Stating that the conspiracy is still going on, he said it was imperative for all to move ahead cautiously.
