Traffic police take action against 1,247 people in 24 hours

Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 1,24,700 vehicles.

As of Thursday morning, the Traffic Police carried out checks in different parts of the Kathmandu Valley carried out action against 56 drivers for drunk driving, 78 for driving under the influence of CCTVs and 51 for using red beacons.

Similarly, 168 drivers were penalized for speeding, 40 for not using horn, 41 for lane crossing, 17 for one-way traffic and 754 for others.
