Kathmandu. In the last 24 hours, the traffic police have taken action against the drivers of 58,500 vehicles.

As of this morning, 33 drivers have been taken for drunk driving, 70 through CCTV and 54 drivers under red beacon in course of checking conducted by the Traffic Police at different parts of Kathmandu Valley till this morning.

Similarly, 28 drivers were taken action for speeding, 11 for prohibiting horn, 19 for lane crossing, 13 for unbelievable conditions, 11 for one-way traffic and 346 for others.
