Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has said that the incumbent government was working to build a strong foundation for the next 15-20 years.

Speaking at a programme organized by RSP on the occasion of International Youth Day in Kathmandu on Wednesday, President Lamichhane said although the government did not carry out visible works in the last four months, it was underway to build a strong foundation for the coming 15-20 years.

Significant presence of youths in parliament and becoming a young prime minister at the age of 35-36 years was a big achievement for Nepal, he said. According to him, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is moving ahead with the objective of becoming an alternative and an ‘alternative force’ rather than ‘seeking alternative’.

He also said that this is not the time for young parliamentarians and ministers to enjoy in office, but to work on the basis of results and results.

He urged the youths to be serious about the negative narrative that ‘inexperienced youths are not possible in politics’ in future if the youth leadership failed to achieve success or shirked responsibility.
